Dr. Irvin A. Roseman
is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of
Dentistry at Chapel Hill.
He served in the United States Army
Dental Corps in Europe.
He practiced General Dentistry for
eight years prior to entering an Endodontic residency at the
University of Detroit in Michigan.
Dr. Roseman has maintained a
specialty practice in Endodontics since 1979.
He is an Associate Professor in the
Department of Endodontics at the University of North Carolina
School of Dentistry, Chapel Hill, and was a part-time instructor
at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry.
He is a Fellow of the American
College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists
and a dental examiner for the Council of Interstate Testing
Agencies for dental and hygiene licensure.
Dr.
Roseman has been chairman of the Carolina section of the
American College of Dentists and was President of the North
Carolina Association of Endodontists and a the Tar Heel
Endodontic Association.
He maintains memberships in the
Southern Endodontics Study Group and the American Dental
Association. Dr. Roseman has several publications and has
lectured nationwide on organizing and simplifying Endodontic
care.
He has given seminars in over 40
states, Mexico and Canada.
Dr.
Roseman has served on the New Hanover County Board of Health and
is a former trustee of the New Hanover Regional Medical Center
and served on the Board of Directors of the University of North
Carolina Hospitals at Chapel Hill. Dr. Roseman served as past
Chairman of the Wilmington International Airport Authority,
which he is still currently a member. In addition he is a member
of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Air Wing.
He is an elected member of UNC Board
of Governors governing the 16 campus system, plus the UNC School
of Science and Mathematics.
At a past
North Carolina Dental Society state meeting Dr. Roseman was
presented the Annual Citizenship Award for rendering outstanding
service to his fellow man that reflects favorably upon the
profession of dentistry.
His area of achievements included
civic affairs, community and cultural services along with his
humanitarian activities.
He is the past President of the N.C.
Fifth District Dental Society and presently trustee and peer
chairman for the N.C. District Dental Society.
